What is delayed motherhood?
Delayed motherhood is the preservation of the ability to conceive and give birth to children in the future through embryo freezing. Stages of embryo preservation
1. Consultation with a reproductive specialist
- Assessment of reproductive health, including 3D pelvic ultrasound.

2. Controlled ovarian stimulation

- When the follicles reach the required size, a trigger injection is administered for the final maturation of the oocytes.
3. Follicle aspiration

- Oocyte retrieval is carried out transvaginally using an ultrasound-guided probe.
- The procedure lasts 10-15 minutes, after which the woman can return to her daily activities after a few hours.
4. Fertilization of oocytes
- The retrieved oocytes are fertilized with the partner’s or donor’s sperm using the ICSI method.
- Embryos are cultured in a special incubator for 5-6-7 days.
- On the 5th to 7th day of embryo development (at the blastocyst stage), a biopsy of the trophectoderm cells can be performed for preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A) to exclude chromosomal abnormalities in the embryos and facilitate the transfer of a euploid embryo (with the correct chromosomal set) into the uterus in the future.
5. Vitrification (rapid freezing) of embryos
- Embryos are frozen using the vitrification method.
- Vitrification minimizes the risk of cell damage.
- Embryos can be stored in the clinic’s special cryobank for many years without losing quality or the ability to implant in the future.
6. Embryo storage
- Embryos are stored in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of -196°C.
- Storage can last indefinitely.
- At any time, the woman can use her embryos for embryo transfer.

Рождение ребенка мы с мужем ждали 15 лет. Ни один врач не находил причин, почему мы не можем иметь детей.
